THE POSTER
- Formative (form)
. can be represented only with text
. in the formative poster the image has more importance than the text
. the message must be expressed clearly and only be supported by the text
. used to promote healthy lifestyle habits, confidence, safety, etc ... or
to raise awareness of how it should be not to use the cell phone to the car,
hygienic habits.
. must generate great IMPACT
. Elements: Physical or psychological
. a good poster is the one that draws attention spontaneously independently
of the will of the observer.
. physical elements: color, text, image, composition, size and format.
. the image must be the synthesis that summarizes the minimal idea of
graphic expression
. the geometric figures are simple and do not require much effort to the
observer
. drawings: realistic, caricatured, stylized.
- Informative (inform)
. induces direct action
. large text readable remotely (only essential information)
. not lose the main idea that is intended to transmit
PODCAST - GENDERS AND RADIAL FORMATS (IVOOX)
Classification of genres
The three genres of radio in which we can classify practically any program are these: musical, journalistic and dramatic. But once inside them we can find different subcategories according to the aspects that we take into account.
For example, depending on the objective sought with the production of each of them, we can make 10 main subcategories: educational, sports, informative, cultural, religious, entertainment, social, advertising, mobilization and participatory.
If on the other hand we look at the target, there would be children's radio programs, female programs, for the elderly, for a more urban public, for people from rural or juvenile areas, among others.
Radio Formats
- The talk: is a speech or monologue, usually brief.
- The news (news format): is a set or succession of news, exposed from
short and little detailed way.
- Note or chronicle: offers extensive information of an event
- The comment: involves an analysis and an opinion about the commented fact,
orients to the listener.
- Dialogue: it is a conversation between two people.
- The informative interview: dialogue based on questions and answers
- The investigative interview: consists of an exhaustive interrogation with some
personality directly related to the fact of interest.
- The radio newspaper: it contains, like a written newspaper, several sections,
politics, economy, sports, etc. Provides news, chronicles, comments, etc.
- The radio-magazine (miscellaneous programs): its characteristic is the variety of
sections that include.

- Radio-reporting: it is one of the most relevant radio formats. It is a monograph
on a given subject.
- The dramatization: in this format life is recreated, therefore it is considered the most
active of all.

AUDIO FORMATS
What is the MP3, WAFF and WAV format?
- MP3
If you are interested in having some fidelity in the audio, a decent sound
of your files you will want to avoid this format, why? Basically it is a file
that sacrifices the audio quality to minimize the size.
- WAFF
They are equal in common but better for anyone who wants to have a decent
audio format, are files of higher resolution than MP3. A WAFF file is encoded
by a medium called PCM. A medium that encodes the analog audio pieces
and converts them into digital.
- AIFF
It is very similar to WAV, it also uses PCM. This format appeared as an answer
from Apple before the Microsoft Wav. Currently AIFF and WAV are interchangeable
files. We will not see them in online transmission services.
- DSD
Sony and Philips started experimenting with very high quality audio codecs and
the DSD format was the result. They are the ones that have the best audio format
in the world. For example, a CD or the service of broadcasts of Spotify counts on
Bit Depth and Sample Rates (16 bit / 44.1 KH), however, the formats of audio DSD
(1 bit / 2.8224MHz). A DSD file samples a whopping 2,822,400 times per second
and every time it gets these samples it produces a bit of information, producing
çincredible detail. There is DSD 64 and DSD 128.

WHAT IS FOLEY SOUND ?
FOLEY EFFECT
The effect of the room, better known today as the Foley effect, is to recreate
sounds of all kinds for an audiovisual production. Sounds that have become
everyday things.
The technique is very useful and almost necessary for filmmakers, since in
the recording of the scenes. This can lead to the loss of more subtle or secondary
sounds, and even so small that the microphones can not record in the first
instance. All this makes sense when mentioning the room effect, whose name
already explains itself.
To carry out an important process. In this way, in the publication - production
phase of a film, sounds and environments are heard that were not captured at
the time.
You get to record, for example, things as common as the movement of a kitchen
utensils, the gallop of a horse, the desenfunde of a sword, the steps of a character
that enters the scene, the punch of a boxer, etc.
THE MICROPHONE
Any type of microphone can work or not work for any audio source. That is,
there are no rules for using microphones.
there are no rules for using microphones.
Not all microphones go hand in hand with all instruments and interpreters.
The 3 most important types
These probably already you have heard, but the 3 types of most important
microphones, or which you will find more followed in the studies or for sale
are the following: Condenser, Dynamic and Ribbon.

In general terms, each of them has its essential characteristics, but also each
individually has its own characteristics.
individually has its own characteristics.
3 polar patterns
Within these the 3 types of microphones that I mentioned, each one can have
1 or more integrated polar patterns.

There are 3 polar patterns that it is important that you know. Then you will find
some more variations but the most important are 3: Cardioid, Figure 8 and Omni.
some more variations but the most important are 3: Cardioid, Figure 8 and Omni.
How do they work?
Cardioid: This type of polar pattern works practically as if it were a flashlight.
Where you point the microphone front is where you will hear the signal and slightly
from the sides. In the back part it will reject enough of the sound.

Figure 8: This type of pattern works practically the same as the cardioid,
only listening to the signal from both sides, the front and the back of the microphone.
only listening to the signal from both sides, the front and the back of the microphone.
Another of its qualities is that it rejects the signal from the sides quite well.
Omni: As you will notice, in this type of polar pattern the microphone detects
the signal in all its circumference, bony, all 360 degrees.

How to know which one you have to use?
The vast majority of microphones come with the most common polar pattern
that is the cardioid, but there are also some to which you can change the pattern
with a simple switch and there are others that already come with the patterns
of Figure 8 and fixed Omni.

Cardioids are the simplest and most intuitive to use, but if you want to experiment
Figure 8 can be useful, for example, to record two singers at the same time, to
record with mid / side technique and more.

The Omni can serve you when you want to capture choirs, or the whole environment
of an instrument in a room.

Now let's move on to the types of microphones ...
1. Capacitors: these are the microphones you always see in professional studio
photographs. They look robust, beautiful, classy and fine. Within the condenser
microphones there are 2 important types:

microphones there are 2 important types:
- The large diaphragm condenser.
- The diaphragm guy or sometimes known as pencil capacitor.
Both have similar characteristics only that the large diaphragm captures the signal in
a larger way and the smaller diaphragm in a more localized way.
a larger way and the smaller diaphragm in a more localized way.
General characteristics:
- Detailed sound, clear and fine.
- They are the most colorful microphones sonoramente.
- They have high sensitivity to sound.
Common Uses:
- Voices, Guitars, Drum, Tarola, Battery overheads, Piano,
Percussions, Podcasts, Strings, Metals, etcetera.
2. Dynamic: are those that you usually find in any live audio situation or those
that you see that are included in karaoke systems.
that you see that are included in karaoke systems.
Of course these are also highly used in recording studios in various situations.
General characteristics:
- Useful when the source is reasonably close and when the sound is low or predominantly
media.
- The representation of high frequencies is not as good
- They are durable, cheap and do not need external power to operate
- Resist high sound pressures (SPL)
Common Uses:
- Electric guitars, percussions, voices, drums, amplifiers,
metals, among others ...
3. Ribbon microphones: they may be the most mysterious and the least "popular"
because these generally tend to be very expensive because of the way they are
because these generally tend to be very expensive because of the way they are
facts and therefore also are quite fragile in their management.
In short, they are called ribbon microphones because there is a small fragile sheet
of metal that captures the sound and can easily be broken if high levels arrive.

of sound pressure.
General characteristics:
- They are expensive and fragile
- They have a honeyed, robust and opaque sound with a remarkable cut at high
frequencies.
- Very sensitive to sound pressure
- Popular with distant microphone positioning techniques.
Common Uses:
- Guitars, metals, microphones fourth, drum overheads, voices,
among others.
